ABOUT GRANITE MOUNTAIN

OUR STORY

GMBC has been part of the Marble Falls community, faithfully serving this area with a heart for God and for people for 40 years. We believe God has placed us here for a purpose — to worship Him, care for one another, and share the love of Christ.

As Jesus teaches, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.”

This command guides our life together and our ministry in the community.

VALUES

 OUR

  • We gather to worship, pray, and grow in God’s Word because loving God is the foundation of everything else. Our desire is to know Him more deeply and live lives that honor Him.

Matthew 22:36-38 Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law? Jesus replied: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.

  • Church is not just a place — it’s a family. We care for one another, celebrate together, serve together, and support one another through both joyful and difficult seasons. Here, you are known and valued.

    Matthew 22:39

And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

  • Following Jesus is a lifelong journey. We are committed to helping people grow in their faith, learn Scripture, and live out the Great Commission in everyday life — right where God has placed us.

    Matthew 28:18-19

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
